DirecTV is an American service provider of satellite broadcast channels. The company was founded on June 17th, 1994, and is based in El Segundo, California. Their operations began when they started broadcasting satellite television to households in the United States. DirecTV has been in a direct competitive rivalry with opposing service provider Dish Network. AT&T is currently in the process of trying to buy out DirecTV, which as of today is valued at $48.5 billion.
DirecTV has been in the business of supplying listeners and viewers with entertainment and TV shows since their inception in 1994. Their channels are played throughout millions of households and their shows are some of the most popular. They offer all kinds of packages for singles, couples, families, and everybody else in mind.
