5 Rifles is a 1974 action thriller about a soldier who finds himself caught in the middle of a terrorist plot. The soldier discovers that his platoon is going to be used in an underground operation to overthrow the government, and must turn his back on his platoon mates and attempt to stop the evil plan. Going against orders from his platoon master and the general, whom he can't convince of the evil plot going on under his nose, the man realizes he must stop the plot himself at any cost to protect his country.
