A Secret Affair is a romantic drama that was released in 1999. A woman travels to Venice in order to do business for her father’s company. There she meets a handsome Irishman, and the two decide to see each other. They meet up several more times, and the woman ends up leaving the man that she is engaged to. She even thinks about becoming an artist rather than working for her father’s company. However, her new found love is kidnapped while reporting in a warzone and his family has no way to pay for his return.
