Watch A Year in the Death of Jack Richards

Jack Richards is a middle aged professor of theology. When Jack Richards' daughter is kidnapped by a religious cult, he goes crazy. Jack spends some time in a psychiatric hospital, but it doesn't do any good. Jack feels sorry for himself and considers suicide. After he leaves the hospital, Professor Richards meets the owner of an old building who hires him as a superintendent. Jack is kidnapped by a different cult and, they make him a heroic figure. The cult members give him presents, a castle to live in, and many women to love. This treatment lasts for one year.
