After Ben realizes that Gus - his neighbor’s farmhand - has been having an affair with his wife, he goes out to attack him in the fields. A fight breaks out between the two and they get involved in an accident with a combined harvester. They end up in hospital and are confined to wheelchairs for life. The film is directed by Gustave de Kervern and is a hilarious black comedy that details the pair, who are now allies, as they embark on a journey to Finland. They intend to ask for compensation from the manufacturer of the combined harvester.
