All I Want is a 2002 coming-of-age film directed by Jeffrey Porter and starring Elijah Wood, Franka Potente, and Mandy Moore. The film follows the life of a high school student named Jones Dillon (Elijah Wood) who is struggling to find his place in the world. Jones is a typical teenager with typical teenage problems. He is a loner, a bit of a misfit, and doesn't quite fit in with any particular cliques at school. He is obsessed with his father's old record collection and spends his days listening to obscure bands and dreaming of a world that has long since passed him by.

One day, Jones meets a mysterious girl named Lisa (Franka Potente) who works at a movie theater. Lisa is older than Jones and seems to know a thing or two about life that he doesn't. Jones is immediately smitten with Lisa and soon becomes a regular at the theater, watching movies just to spend time with her.

Meanwhile, Jones is also crushing hard on a popular girl named Jane (Mandy Moore) who seems to have everything he doesn't. She's beautiful, popular, and well-liked by everyone at school. Despite the fact that Jane barely knows Jones exists, he continues to pursue her, hoping to win her heart.

As Jones navigates his way through these various crushes, he also has to deal with the fact that his parents are getting a divorce. His father (played by Peter Facinelli) has moved out of the house and is now living in a dingy apartment, surrounded by his old records and memories of a bygone era.

All I Want is a thoughtful and introspective film that deals with some weighty issues, including divorce, unrequited love, and the struggles of growing up. Elijah Wood gives a nuanced and sensitive performance as Jones, capturing the character's sense of alienation and longing with graceful ease.

Franka Potente is also excellent as Lisa, bringing a quiet dignity and a sense of woundedness to the character. Even though Lisa is older and wiser than Jones, she's also dealing with her own demons and struggles, and Potente captures that beautifully.

Mandy Moore is the weakest link in the cast, but that's not necessarily her fault. Her character, Jane, is woefully underwritten, and Moore doesn't have much to do other than look pretty and say a few lines. This isn't a knock on Moore as an actress, but rather a criticism of the script.

Despite its flaws, All I Want is a poignant and heartfelt film that will resonate with anyone who has ever felt like an outsider. The movie is a reminder that growing up is hard, but it's also a reminder that there's beauty in the struggle.

All I Want is a 2002 comedy with a runtime of 1 hour and 34 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.0.
