Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold is an action-adventure movie from 1986, starring Richard Chamberlain, Sharon Stone, and James Earl Jones. It is a sequel to King Solomon's Mines, another movie based on the novel of the same name. The movie starts with Allan Quartermain (Richard Chamberlain) and his team of adventurers, Jesse Huston (Sharon Stone) and Umslopogaas (Sipho Mdzankwa), traveling to Africa in search of the lost city of gold, which is said to contain untold riches. They are hired by a man named Eric Safaris (Henry Silva), who claims to know the location of the city.

On their way to the city, they encounter many obstacles, including fierce native warriors and treacherous jungle terrain. They also run into a rival group of treasure hunters, led by a man named Dogati (John Rhys-Davies), who will stop at nothing to get to the city first.

As they get closer to their goal, Allan and his team realize that the city has a dark secret. It is ruled by a tyrannical queen named Sorais (Sharon Stone), who is aided by a powerful sorcerer named Agon (James Earl Jones). Sorais believes that Allan is the reincarnation of her dead lover, and she plans to sacrifice him to the gods in a ceremony that will grant her immortality.

Allan and his team must navigate Sorais's treacherous court, fight off her army of warriors, and ultimately destroy Agon to stop Sorais's evil plan and escape with their lives.

The movie is filled with action-packed scenes of jungle trekking, combat, and adventure. Richard Chamberlain's portrayal of Allan Quartermain is both charming and heroic, as he leads his team through the dangers of the jungle. Sharon Stone shines as both Jesse Huston and the evil queen Sorais, showcasing her versatility as an actress. James Earl Jones is a menacing presence as Agon, with his deep voice and commanding demeanor.

The movie also has a fantastic score, composed by Michael Linn. His music adds to the excitement and suspense of the movie, heightening the tension during the action scenes and adding a sense of wonder during the exploration scenes.

Overall, Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold is a thrilling adventure movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat. It has great performances, fantastic music, and amazing scenery that transports you to the heart of the African jungle. If you're a fan of action-adventure movies, this is definitely one to add to your movie collection.
