Watch Alumbrones

Alumbrones is a documentary feature that offers viewers an in depth examination of the lives of twelve contemporary artists living in Havana, Cuba. The film focuses on the many pitfalls of being a Cuban artist, even a nationally renowned one, including having to deal with the host of issues that confronts anybody living in an underdeveloped country. The documentary focuses on the artists' passion and love of their home country, and how that, in conjunction with the day-to-day difficulties of living in Cuba, inspire their creative processes.
