This documentary is about Bruce Barron, one of the professional globe traveling explorers sponsored by American Explorers. He is obsessed with the idea of recreating an 1910 expedition by British explorer, Percy Fawcett. Barron convinces his close friend, Marshall Picard, to help him plan and execute a repeat of one of the most dangerous expeditions in history, into the mysterious Amazon. It has been 86 years since Fawcett set out. Barron intends to discover what happened to Fawcett, and bring back any evidence found.
