Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi is a 2003 Telugu language film directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film revolves around a young man named Chandu, played by Ravi Teja, who comes to Hyderabad from Tamil Nadu to fulfill his mother's last wish. There, he falls in love with a girl named Sivangi, played by Asin. However, Sivangi's father, a powerful and corrupt politician named GK, played by Prakash Raj, opposes their relationship and tries to separate them. Chandu also has to deal with the animosity of his own uncle, a gang leader who holds a grudge against GK.

The film starts with Chandu, a carefree and naïve young man, living in a village in Tamil Nadu with his mother, played by Jayasudha. He has a great attachment to his mother and follows all her advice. She inspires him to go to Hyderabad to learn something useful, as she believes he has a great future ahead of him.

Chandu goes to Hyderabad and starts working in a hotel where he meets Sivangi, a Telugu-speaking girl. He falls in love with her, but she tells him that she can only marry someone who can speak Telugu fluently. Determined to win her heart, Chandu pretends to be a Telugu-speaking guy and learns the language. Over time, their love blossoms, and they both hope to get married.

However, Sivangi's father, GK, comes to know about their relationship and opposes it. GK is a powerful politician who can do anything to get what he wants. He has a reputation for being corrupt and using his power to crush anyone who opposes him. He sees Chandu as an obstacle in his political career and tries to break their relationship.

The rest of the movie is a cat-and-mouse game between Chandu and GK. Chandu tries to win Sivangi's love while also dealing with GK's machinations. He also has to cope with the violent behavior of his own uncle, a gang leader who is against GK. The movie is full of action, drama, and romance, with some great comic moments.

One of the highlights of the movie is Ravi Teja's performance as Chandu. He is convincing as a goofy yet determined young man who is in love. His comic timing is spot-on, and he brings a lot of energy to the role. Asin, who plays Sivangi, also does a great job, portraying a strong and independent woman who is torn between her family and her love. Prakash Raj, as always, is excellent as the machiavellian politician who will stop at nothing to get what he wants.

The movie's soundtrack, composed by Chakri, is also noteworthy, with some catchy and memorable songs. The songs are well choreographed, and they add to the movie's overall entertainment value.

Overall, Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi is a well-made movie that combines action, drama, and comedy in a balanced way. It is a must-watch for fans of Telugu cinema and those who enjoy a good romantic comedy with a dash of political intrigue.
