The Soviet Block in the 1960s was fertile ground for sensitive and comedic art films. This Georgian project is nearly devoid of dialogue, yet conveys a special message through pictures. An old man, with a traditional method of conducting business, canvasses a town's streets. The locals aren't amused, but a young couple who are new to the town, sees great joy in this peddler's efforts. They help the town's residents redefine their notion of community and positive living.
