This Sri Lankan Sinhalese drama film was released in theaters in 1990. When translated to English the title of the movie means sunset. The film follows a family that has decided to move from their native village to a larger town in search of better opportunities. It follows the family of Karunaratne Banda Sathigala, the leading character in the film, as he, his wife and three children settle down in a town after living in the countryside.
