Bandhan is a 2004 Bengali language film directed by Rabi Kinagi and starring Jeet, Koyel Mallick, and Anshu Bach. The movie centers around the story of Jeevan (Jeet), an unemployed young man who lives in a small village in West Bengal. Jeevan is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves spending time with his friends and playing pranks on people in the village. However, his life takes a drastic turn when his mother falls ill and needs costly medical attention.

In his desperation to save his mother, Jeevan takes a job in Kolkata, miles away from his village. There he meets Rajnandini (Koyel Mallick), a wealthy girl who falls in love with him despite his poor background. Rajnandini helps Jeevan pay for his mother's medical bills and introduces him to her father, Biswambhar Roy (Anshu Bach), a rich businessman who offers him a job in his company.

Jeevan's life seems to be turning around, but things take a darker turn when he discovers that Biswambhar is involved in illegal activities. Jeevan is faced with a moral dilemma – should he keep his job and stay silent about the illegal activities, or should he risk losing everything he has gained by speaking out?

As Jeevan struggles with his dilemma, Rajnandini's brother, Abhi (Deepankar De), falls in love with Jeevan's sister, Paro (Rimjhim Gupta), who lives in the same village as Jeevan. However, their relationship is opposed by Abhi's mother, who does not approve of the match due to Paro's low social status.

Bandhan explores themes of love, family, and morality, and the movie is filled with drama, romance, and action. With a running time of just over two hours, the movie keeps viewers engaged from start to finish, with strong performances by the lead actors and beautiful cinematography that captures the vibrant colors and sounds of rural West Bengal.

The movie's soundtrack, composed by Jeet Gannguli, features a mix of romantic ballads and upbeat dance numbers that add to the film's overall appeal. In particular, the song "Kothin Tomake Chara Ekdin" became a hit when the movie was released and has remained popular among Bengali music lovers to this day.

Overall, Bandhan is a well-crafted movie that is sure to please fans of Indian cinema. With its engaging storyline, strong performances, and beautiful visuals, it is a movie that is not to be missed.
