Bhai-Bhai is a 1970 Bollywood film that revolves around the story of two brothers, one an honest journalist and the other a criminal. The film is directed by Raja Nawathe and produced by B. Ananthaswami. Sunil Dutt plays the character of Ram Singh, a journalist who works for a local newspaper. He is honest and always fights for the truth, even if it means risking his life. He is the eldest son of a family that has been associated with the newspaper business for several generations.

His younger brother, Lakshman Singh, played by Asha Parekh, is a dacoit who has been on the run from the law for several years. He is wanted for several crimes, including murder and robbery. He is feared by the people of the region, and the police have been on his trail for years.

The film starts with Lakshman Singh returning to his village to attend his sister's wedding. However, Ram Singh refuses to allow him to attend the wedding and insists that he surrender to the police. The two brothers get into a heated argument, and Lakshman Singh leaves the village.

Ram Singh continues to pursue his journalistic work and exposes several corrupt politicians in the region. He meets Champa, played by Mumtaz Askari, who is the daughter of one of the politicians. Champa is initially hesitant to help Ram Singh, but eventually, she joins his fight against corruption.

Meanwhile, Lakshman Singh continues his life as a dacoit and becomes more violent with each passing day. He is constantly pursued by the police, but he is too smart to be caught. He is also aware that his brother is fighting against the same corrupt politicians that he has been robbed of by his own father.

As the film progresses, the siblings find themselves on opposite sides of the law. Ram Singh is fighting for justice, while Lakshman Singh is living a life of crime. However, their paths cross when Lakshman Singh kidnaps Champa, who is later rescued by Ram Singh.

The climax of the film takes place when Lakshman Singh decides to give up his life of crime and surrender to the police. However, the corrupt politicians, who have been exposed by Ram Singh, decide to kill him before he can surrender. Will Ram Singh be able to save his brother, or will he be too late?

Bhai-Bhai is a gripping tale of family loyalty, love, and brotherhood. The film is a commentary on the corrupt politicians, who manipulate the common people for their own gain. The film's storyline moves at a rapid pace, and the performances of the actors, including Sunil Dutt, Asha Parekh, and Mumtaz Askari, are noteworthy.

Overall, Bhai-Bhai is a must-watch for anyone who enjoys Bollywood films that are both entertaining and thought-provoking. The film's themes of loyalty, justice, and brotherhood are universal and have relevance even in today's world.
