South Africa is a country that is very well-known for its politics and a seemingly endless civil war that has been taking place in the country for numerous years. It is a country that does not tolerate many things, and one the things that is certainly not tolerated to any degree is homosexuality. This film follows three young friends who live in an urban neighborhood known as Soweto. They are normal individuals except for one fact, they are gay and have immersed themselves in the gay subculture of South Africa. The obvious problem they face everyday is the threat of attack and potential murder.
