Bloodsport III is a 1996 martial arts action film directed by Alan Mehrez and starring Daniel Bernhardt as the lead character, Alex Cardo. It is the third installment in the Bloodsport film series, following the success of the previous two films. The movie opens with Alex, who has won several martial arts competitions, being sent to Japan to train and represent the United States in the Kumite, a secret and illegal martial arts tournament. However, things do not go according to plan as he finds himself embroiled in a mysterious organization's plan to take control of the tournament and use it to launder their dirty money.

The story takes a dramatic turn when Alex discovers that the mastermind behind the organization is none other than his former mentor and friend, Demon, played by the legendary John Rhys-Davies. Uni Park also stars in the movie as Sun, a young fighter who becomes Alex's loyal friend and ally.
