Body of Lies

The film entitled Body of Lies is about the activities of Roger Ferris. Roger is on a mission to capture a terrorist known as Al-Saleem. Roger comes across Nizar, who is also a member of the terrorist group. He provides Roger with reliable information about Al-Saleem. Roger kills Nizar after obtaining the information for fear that he will reveal his identity to his friends. He leaves for Iraq alongside Bassam to search a house based on information given by Nizar. They get to the house and find many people there. A fight breaks out, during which Bassam is killed and Roger severely injured.

When Roger recovers, he continues his search for Al-Saleem. He travels to Jordan alongside Hoffman where he meets Hani Salaam. Hoffman locates one of Al-Saleem's houses in Jordan. He asks Roger to keep the house under surveillance. While there, Rogers falls in love with a nurse known as Aisha.

One of the terrorists discovers that their house is being surveilled. He informs his friends, and they vacate the premises. Roger travels to Washington to join Hoffman. They devise new strategies to track down Al-Saleem. They decide to fake a terrorist attack and implicate Omar, whom they believe Al-Saleem will decide to get in touch with. After the attack, Al-Saleem comes out of hiding in search of Omar.

Salaam warns Roger that he suspects Omar is a terrorist and not an innocent man as he thinks. Al-Saleem and his men decide to kidnap Omar. Roger tries to rescue him but fails. Omar is later killed by Al-Saleem's men.

Roger returns home that day and finds out that Aisha had been kidnapped. He offers himself in exchange for Aisha. The kidnappers take him through the desert to Syria where he meets Al-Saleem. Roger asks to see Aisha, but Al-Saleem tells him they know nothing about her whereabouts. Al-Saleem gives orders that Roger be killed. Salaam and his men arrive and rescue him.
