Bride of Boogedy is a horror-comedy movie released in 1987. The movie is a sequel to the Disney Channel movie, Mr. Boogedy, which aired in 1986. The movie tells the story of the Davis family, who moves into a new home in the fictional town of Lucifer Falls. Little do they know, their new home is haunted by the ghost of Mr. Boogedy, a colonel who lived in the house during the 18th century.

Richard Masur plays Tom Davis, a novelty salesman who moves to Lucifer Falls with his family, including his wife, Jennifer (Mimi Kennedy), their daughter, Corwin (Tammy Lauren), and their sons, Ariel and Jonathan. As soon as the family moves into their new home, they start experiencing supernatural occurrences. Strange noises, ghostly apparitions, and objects moving on their own all indicate that the house is not what it seems.

Corwin starts researching the history of the town and discovers that the house they moved into was once owned by William Hanover, who was married to a woman named Henrietta. Henrietta died under mysterious circumstances, and it is believed that her ghost still haunts the estate. The family also discovers that Mr. Boogedy, the ghost they encountered in their previous home, was once a colonel who lived in the house during the 18th century and that he had a daughter, Annabelle, who disappeared without a trace.

As the family discovers more about the house's history, they realize that they are dealing with much more than just Mr. Boogedy's ghost. Henrietta's ghost wants revenge on her husband for her death, and she plans to use Corwin as her vessel to achieve her goal. The Davis family must work together to save Corwin and put an end to the hauntings in their new home.

The movie is a fun-filled horror-comedy that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. The special effects are top-notch, and the acting by the cast is excellent. Richard Masur does an excellent job of playing the bumbling father who is trying to keep his family safe, while Mimi Kennedy delivers a convincing performance as the caring mother who is also in on the supernatural occurrences. Tammy Lauren is a standout as Corwin, who's determined to uncover the truth about the house's dark history.

The movie is filled with plenty of spooky moments, but there are also plenty of laugh-out-loud moments that make it a fun family movie. The ghostly apparitions are well done, and the special effects used to create them make them all the more terrifying. The movie also does an excellent job of building suspense and creating a creepy atmosphere that will keep viewers engaged from start to finish.

Overall, Bride of Boogedy is a must-watch for anyone who loves horror-comedy movies. It's an excellent follow-up to Mr. Boogedy, and it stands on its own as a fun-filled family movie that will entertain viewers of all ages. It has the right combination of scares and laughs that make it a perfect movie to watch on a dark and stormy night. So grab some popcorn and get ready for an unforgettable ride with the Davis family as they face off against the supernatural forces in their new home.
