Bulletproof is an action-packed movie from 1987 starring the well-known actor Gary Busey as Jack Carter. Jack is a tough cop who’s on a mission to take down a dangerous gang of criminals led by a notorious drug lord Frank Velez (played by Henry Silva). Jack has a personal vendetta against Velez, as he was responsible for the death of Jack's partner, and Jack vows to bring him to justice.

The movie opens with Jack and his partner Frank McBain (played by Michael McRae) trying to take down Velez’s narcotics shipment. However, the operation goes wrong, and Frank is killed in the process. Jack is left determined and driven to take down Velez and his entire organization.

Jack follows the trail of Velez to Mexico, where he meets a beautiful nightclub singer, Blain (played by Darlanne Fluegel). They both work together to bring down Velez's drug empire. Jack and Blain eventually end up falling in love, and it adds a romantic twist to the movie.

However, their journey to bring Velez to justice is not an easy one. They face many challenges along the way, and Velez is always one step ahead of them. Jack and Blain find themselves in life-threatening situations several times, but they keep pushing forward, fueled by their desire to take down Velez.

The action scenes in the movie are intense, and the fight scenes are very well choreographed. The film's climax involves a dramatic and thrilling shootout between Jack, Blain, and Velez's men, which leaves the audience on the edge of their seats.

The acting performances by the cast are commendable, with Gary Busey delivering an outstanding performance as Jack Carter. He brings his signature style to the character, and it’s impossible not to root for him. Darlanne Fluegel also does an excellent job of portraying Blain. She is a strong character who holds her own and proves herself to be a great asset to Jack.

Henry Silva is perfect in his role as the villain, Frank Velez. He is menacing and ruthless, and the audience can feel the tension in the air whenever he appears on screen. He is the perfect foil to Busey's character, and their scenes together are some of the best in the movie.

The cinematography in the movie is impressive, with beautiful shots of Mexico's landscapes and cityscapes. The score is also noteworthy, adding to the movie's overall feel.

In conclusion, Bulletproof is a must-watch for anyone who loves action movies. It has all the elements of a classic action movie, including an engaging plot, well-choreographed fight scenes, and an excellent cast of actors. Even though it was released in 1987, it has aged well and remains relevant today. The movie may not be a masterpiece, but it's highly entertaining and a lot of fun to watch.
