However, what differentiates Abigail from other girls is the fact that she has been living with a rare skin condition that is classified as life-threatening. She was born with this disease and thus has never been able to fully appreciate life as a normal individual. She works in the honky tonks selling merchandise for her father's band. Her parents are constantly worried about the future of their beloved daughter.
