Watch Chand Aur Suraj

Chandarprakash is a middle-class worker who supports his wife, Kamla and son, Munna, along with his brother, Surajprakash. Chandarprakash, also known as Chandar, is one day accused of stealing money from his job and as a result, he is fired. Struggling to find a new job and money, Chandar abruptly leaves for a trip alone. He is later found dead. His family is then awarded insurance money for his accidental death.

Afterwards, they each go down drastically different paths. Suraj drops his aspirations of becoming a doctor and turns to drugs and gambling, while Chandar's wife starts an affair with a new man.
