Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice is a horror movie released in 1992, directed by David Price, and starring Terence Knox, Paul Scherrer, and Ryan Bollman. This sequel to the 1984’s original film Children of the Corn, based on a short story written by Stephen King, introduces a new chapter in the story of Gatlin, Nebraska.

The movie takes place seven years after the original massacre that occurred in Gatlin, Nebraska, in which the town’s children, manipulated by a cult called the Children of the Corn, murdered all the adults. Two reporters, John and Danny, come to the town to investigate and write a report on the controversial event, and also to uncover why the government has kept the town closed since then.

The reporters soon discover that the town is still deeply wrapped in the cult’s supernatural beliefs, and that Isaac, the cult’s murderous leader from the first film, is believed to have been resurrected to fulfill an ancient prophecy. This prophecy calls for the Children of the Corn to be led by a new leader who will ultimately bring about a final sacrifice, an act that will grant them immense power.

As the reporters dig deeper into the town's dark and twisted history, they begin to uncover a series of brutal murders that are committed in the name of the Children of the Corn. Along the way, they come across Micah, a young boy who, unbeknownst to them, has ties to the cult, and also to a local girl named Lacey, who is willing to help them uncover the truth.

As the reporters get closer to the truth, they find themselves hunted by the cult and forced to fight for their lives. Meanwhile, Micah begins to experience strange visions that hint at a sinister force lurking beneath the surface of the cult’s power-hungry leaders, and that drive him to confront the cult’s true intentions.

The movie is a decent sequel to the original Children of the Corn, and is filled with plenty of spooky horror moments that are sure to make your skin crawl. The acting is pretty good, with Terence Knox and Paul Scherrer doing a great job as the two investigative reporters who find themselves thrust into the dangerous world of the Children of the Corn.

The score is also quite effective, and helps to amp up the eerie atmosphere throughout the movie. David Price’s direction is good, and he manages to create a sense of tension and mystery that keeps you wondering what will happen next.

Overall, Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice is a decent horror movie that's worth checking out if you're a fan of the genre, and are looking for a nostalgic trip back to the ‘90s when horror movies were all about practical effects and a convoluted plot that was easy to follow.

Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice is a 1993 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 32 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.3 and a MetaScore of 18.
