The 1962 movie Children of The Sun is a movie for those who like to see how the spirit of people can triumph in spite of adversity. It was directed by Jacques Severac, a French movie director, and he imparts an element of realism rarely seen in movies. The movie is about impoverished children living in squalid conditions in Morocco and how, despite the children's extreme poverty, they still dare to dream and create an entire new world for themselves and their families. One of the boys saves enough money to buy his mother a sewing machine; his joy is short lived when the machine is destroyed in an accident. Undaunted, the boy decides to start saving again for another sewing machine.

Its an inspirational movie that illustrates the unbreakable spirit of mankind.
