Filmed and released in Iran, Colors of Memory focuses on the story of the tragic 2003 Bam earthquake. After living in Germany for 33 years, an Iranian man decides to return to his home country. He's urged to travel to Bam to perform a major heart surgery on a family friend's nephew; along the way, he witnesses the rubble and thinks about his life in the area.
