This is a documentary movie about the Lewiston-Clarkson valley. It explores the history of the area where Lewis and Clark camped on their way west. It highlights the darker history people do not acknowledge. When Lewis and Clark took their famous trip west, they stopped at the confluence of the Snake River and the Clearwater. They camped for a while, and it eventually became a town. It is touted by the locals as the first real capital of Idaho.
What locals usually do not mention are the murders. Between 1979 and 1982, five people vanished. Only three bodies were found, and the killer is still at large.
Confluence is a 2011 documentary with a runtime of 53 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.8.
