The documentary Country Music: The Spirit Of America is a must see for any lover of what has been deemed as America's music. Written and co-produced by Tom Neff, and narrated by Hollywood icon Hal Holbrook, it is a wonderful 90 year journey that tells the story from the beginning to the present day of the music that they say helped to form a nation. Co-produced by country music super star Randy Scruggs, who also did the musical score, the tale is vividly told through vintage photographs and archival film footage and features such great names as Hank Williams, Patsy Cline,Jim Reeves, and Loretta Lynn.
