What does it take to be a stuntwoman? Double Dare is a 2003 documentary film following real-life stuntwomen Zoe Bell and Jeannie Epper who have worked in hollywood for years. The film was directed by Amanda Micheli and highlights the struggles of finding work and improving their careers. It is not easy to be successful in Hollywood, even for stuntwomen whose faces are rarely seen. The pressures of cosmetic surgery continue to grow and a woman's age plays a huge factor in their job opportunities. Epper and Bell must sort through the daily negotiations and may even find themselves somewhere they never dreamed, the World Stunt Awards.

It takes a lifetime of training to be a success. Bell and Epper must maintain the perfect weight and assemble new headshots for an American career. The documentary continues to follow these women though major motion pictures, such as Uma Thurman’s Kill Bill.

Double Dare is a 2003 documentary with a runtime of 1 hour and 21 minutes. It has received mostly positive reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 7.3 and a MetaScore of 70.
