Elvis Presley plays the fictional musician and singer Guy Lambert. While doing a European music tour, his life gets hilariously interesting. The first leg of the tour is in Great Britain followed by Belgium. Jill Conway, (Anette Day) is a wealthy American heiress. She is also Guy's biggest fan. In short, she has the worst crush on him and thinks he is dreamy. Her meddling family wants to ensure they do not meet. They send her away. But they send her to Belgium, where he is going to do the next leg of his tour.
While on his way to Brussels, Belgium, his luggage becomes the hiding place for stolen goods. This turns into a comedy of errors as the jewel thieves try to get their goods back and detectives take a keen interest in Guy and his luggage.
Meanwhile, Guy is caught between Jill and another woman with designs on him, Claire Dunham (Yvonne Romain). On top of that, he has to also deftly avoid Jill's plotting relatives who still wish to interfere with the relationship.
The movie contains nine songs sung by Elvis. They include "Long Legged Girls with Short Dresses On" and "Baby, if You Give Me All Your Love."
