In the movie "Down the Drain," Andrew Stevens stars as Chuck, a struggling plumber who is down on his luck. Despite his best efforts, Chuck can't seem to catch a break. His finances are in shambles, his marriage is on the rocks, and he can't seem to land any new clients for his plumbing business. As his problems mount, Chuck becomes increasingly desperate. He turns to loan sharks, with disastrous results, and even considers robbing a bank to get the cash he needs. But just when things are looking their bleakest, Chuck meets a wealthy and beautiful woman named Crystal (played by Teri Copley).

Crystal offers Chuck a deal: she'll pay off all of his debts and set him up with a new plumbing business, if he'll help her out with a little favor. It seems that Crystal's husband, a powerful and corrupt businessman, has hidden a cache of diamonds somewhere in their mansion. Crystal wants Chuck to break in and steal the diamonds, then split the loot with her.

Initially hesitant, Chuck eventually agrees to the plan. He recruits his friend, a former football player named Moose (John Matuszak), to help him with the heist. But as they set their plan in motion, Chuck and Moose realize that there's more to the situation than meets the eye. The mansion is full of dangerous traps and unexpected obstacles, and Crystal may not be as trustworthy as she seems.

As they navigate their way through the mansion, Chuck and Moose must contend with security guards, attack dogs, and booby traps at every turn. But even as they risk life and limb for the chance at riches, they begin to realize that there may be something more valuable than diamonds at stake: their own sense of honor and integrity.
