Drunken Monkey is a martial arts action-comedy film directed by Liu Chia-liang and produced by Jackie Chan. It was released in 2003 and stars Jing Wu as the lead character, Drunken Monkey. The movie is set in ancient China and revolves around a group of martial artists who are trained in the art of the Drunken Monkey style. The movie opens with Chen and Uncle Yan traveling to a remote village where they encounter a gang of bandits who are causing havoc in the area. Chen tries to take on the bandits but is no match for their skills. It is here that he realizes that he needs to improve his skills to defeat them.

While in the village, Chen meets a young girl named Fu (played by Shannon Yao) who is being bullied by the bandits. He decides to help her and the two become friends. Fu asks Chen to teach her how to fight, and he agrees. This is when Chen discovers that Fu is a skilled fighter and has been hiding her true abilities.

Meanwhile, the bandit leader, Dragon (played by Liang Shi-Xiong), discovers that Chen and Uncle Yan are in the village and sets out to confront them. Chen and his friends discover that Dragon is planning a raid on the village, and they must prepare to defend it.

The movie is full of action-packed scenes that showcase the Drunken Monkey style. There are several fight sequences that are choreographed beautifully, with each character showing off their unique style of fighting. The movie also features some comedic moments, which add to the entertainment value.

The performances of the lead actors are noteworthy. Jing Wu delivers an impressive performance as Chen, showcasing his skills as a martial artist.
