"Ears, Open. Eyeballs, Click." is a 95 minute documentary film from the year of 2004. The film chronicles the development of United States Marine Platoon 1141 from its arrival in San Diego, through each of the steps involved in basic training, and concluding with graduating to become proper Marines. None of the footage in the the film is narrated or edited to focus on a particular individual. While the director began this project with four cameraman, he was forced to capture the footage himself. The film's title takes its cues from the training regimen involved in becoming a U.S. Marine.
