This is a movie directed by famed Spanish director Eloy De la Iglesia; he's known for directing some interesting films in controversial subjects such as homosexuality, drug use, and other subjects. El Diputado is about Roberto, a leading Spanish left-wing politician who's sexual weakness for young boys is exploited by the far right politicians, his opponents in politics.

This movie is a study in contrasts; the relationship between Roberto and the teenage boys is steamy and passionate while the relationship between Roberto and Carmen, his wife is dull, tenuous, and boring. A climatic scene finds Roberto, Carmen and Juanito, one of the young boys, in a sexual threesome culminating in a three-way-kiss. This sexual farce is an ode to innocence that viewers will find intriguing.
