Final Score is an adrenaline-pumping action thriller directed by Scott Mann, starring Dave Bautista, Pierce Brosnan, and Lara Peake. The movie is set in London where a group of terrorists infiltrates the stadium during a major soccer game with the intent to take hostages and carry out a high-stakes heist. Bautista plays Michael Knox, a former soldier who is attending the game with his niece, Danni (Peake). When he realizes what's happening, he quickly springs into action and teams up with the stadium's head of security, Faisal (played by Amit Shah), to stop the terrorists from completing their mission.

The movie opens with a brief backstory of Knox's military service, but quickly jumps into the action as the terrorists start to make their move. The audience is introduced to the main villain, Arkady (Brosnan), who is a former Russian oligarch turned terrorist, and his team of heavily armed and trained mercenaries. They quickly take control of the stadium's systems, including the scoreboard and network, and take hundreds of people hostage in one of the stadium's private boxes. Among the hostages is the British Prime Minister, who was attending the game with his family.

As Knox and Faisal work together to find a way to rescue the hostages and stop the terrorists, they encounter numerous obstacles and challenges. The stadium is rigged with explosives and the terrorists are well-armed and highly trained, making it difficult for the two heroes to gain an advantage. Despite the odds, they remain determined and resourceful, using their military training and expertise to outsmart the villains at every turn.

What sets Final Score apart from other action movies is its unique setting in a soccer stadium. The filmmakers make great use of the various parts of the stadium, including the locker rooms, tunnels, and even the pitch itself. The action scenes are well-choreographed and intense, featuring a mix of hand-to-hand combat and gunfights. The movie also has a fair amount of humor, mostly courtesy of Bautista's deadpan delivery of sarcastic one-liners.

Despite the high stakes and tension-filled plot, the movie also manages to explore some deeper themes about family and sacrifice. Knox's relationship with his niece is at the center of the story, and he is willing to risk everything to protect her and the other hostages. There are also some emotional scenes between the hostages and their loved ones outside the stadium, which serve to humanize the situation and make the audience care more about the outcome.

The performances by the cast are mostly solid, with Bautista and Brosnan being the standouts. Bautista once again proves that he has what it takes to be a leading man in action movies, displaying both physical prowess and emotional depth. Brosnan, on the other hand, has a blast playing the scene-chewing villain, complete with a Russian accent and a maniacal laugh. Lara Peake also shines as Danni, bringing a vulnerability and innocence to the role that makes her more than just a typical damsel in distress.

Overall, Final Score is a thrilling and entertaining action movie that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. While it may not break any new ground in terms of plot or character, it more than makes up for it in sheer adrenaline and excitement. The movie is a great choice for fans of both action and soccer, as it combines the best of both worlds in a satisfying and explosive package.
