Fired Up! is a comedy movie that revolves around two high school football players Nick Brady (Eric Christian Olsen) and Shawn Colfax (Nicholas D'Agosto) who decide to skip the summer football training camp to attend cheerleading camp instead. Nick and Shawn are tired of the intense football summer camps and are looking for a more relaxed summer experience. They decide to join the cheerleading camp and pursue a teenage dream of hooking up with the hot cheerleaders. However, they quickly find themselves out of place in the camp as they are the only two boys in a camp filled with girls.

Nick and Shawn's plan seems to be working out as they are getting the attention of the cheerleaders, but they soon realize that they have started to enjoy cheerleading and are getting better at it. However, with their newfound love for cheerleading, they also have to face resentment and jealousy from the girls in the team who feel threatened by Nick and Shawn's natural talent.

As the cheerleading camp progresses, Nick and Shawn start to take the camp more seriously and decide to compete in the cheerleading camp competition. However, they soon realize that their respective girlfriends have become very close to each other and they are unable to keep up with the different challenges in front of them.

Sarah Roemer plays Carly, the head cheerleader and romantic interest of Nick, while Molly Sims plays her mother. Carly's character is initially portrayed as being shallow and only interested in the image of the cheerleading team. However, she eventually proves to be a good leader and is able to rally the team together.
