Frankenhood is a 2009 horror comedy film starring DeRay Davis, Jasper Redd, and Charlie Murphy. The film centers around two friends, Motown and Darius, who harbor a dream of one day opening up their own barbershop. However, they lack the funds to make their dream a reality. One day, while roaming the streets of their neighborhood, they come across a mad scientist, Dr. Stein, who is looking for two young men to volunteer for his next experiment. Motown and Darius, seeing this as the opportunity of a lifetime, eagerly volunteer.

Dr. Stein's experiment involves reanimating body parts from the dead, and he plans to use Motown and Darius as his test subjects. However, something goes awry during the experiment, and the two friends find themselves transformed into a monstrous creature with superhuman strength, but also with a heightened aggression that threatens the safety of their loved ones.

Motown and Darius soon discover that they are not the only ones Dr. Stein has experimented on, and they must band together with other victims as they struggle to come to terms with their new identities and figure out how to reverse the experiment.

The film explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the consequences of playing God. It also incorporates humor and satire as the characters navigate their newfound monstrous forms and attempt to blend into society.
