Get Over It is a 2001 teen comedy directed by Tommy O'Haver, starring Kirsten Dunst, Ben Foster, Melissa Sagemiller, and Martin Short. The movie follows a high school student named Berke (Ben Foster) who is dumped by his girlfriend Allison (Melissa Sagemiller) right before the school's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Desperate to win her back, Berke auditions for the play to try and get closer to her, but things start to get complicated when he falls for the new girl in town, Kelly (Kirsten Dunst).

The movie opens with Berke and Allison in the middle of a passionate make-out session. However, their relationship takes a turn for the worse when Allison breaks up with Berke, revealing that she has fallen in love with the lead singer of a boy band named Striker. Berke is devastated and spends the next several weeks moping around his room, listening to sad love songs, and eating copious amounts of junk food.

Meanwhile, Berke's best friends Felix (Colin Hanks) and Dennis (Sisqó) try to cheer him up by taking him to a party at Kelly's house. It is here that Berke first lays eyes on Kelly, a talented and beautiful singer who has just moved to town. As Berke tries to talk to her, he is constantly interrupted by Kelly's ex-boyfriend, a pompous actor named Peter Wong (Shane West).

In an effort to win Allison back, Berke decides to audition for the school's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Despite having no acting experience, Berke is cast in the lead role of Lysander, much to the dismay of Peter Wong, who was hoping to land the part. As rehearsals begin, Berke struggles to act and sing, but is determined to improve so he can impress Allison.

As Berke spends more time with Kelly, he starts to develop feelings for her. However, Kelly is still hung up on her ex-boyfriend, who left her for a stint on a popular teen drama. Berke is heartbroken when he sees Kelly and Peter Wong kissing, but decides to move on and focus on the play.

On opening night, things take a turn for the worse when the performer playing Puck accidentally knocks out the actor playing Bottom, forcing Berke to take over the role at the last minute. Despite the chaos, the play is a success, and Allison is impressed with Berke's performance. However, when Berke sees Kelly in the audience, he realizes that his feelings for her are stronger than ever.

The movie concludes with Berke confronting Kelly about his feelings, but she tells him that she needs time to figure out what she wants. Berke eventually moves on, starting a relationship with another girl named Basin (Zoe Saldana) as Kelly leaves town to pursue her music career.

Overall, Get Over It is a lighthearted teen rom-com with plenty of humor, witty one-liners, and catchy musical numbers. The movie pokes fun at the melodramatic nature of high school relationships and the importance teenagers place on fitting in and being popular. The performances by the young cast are all solid, with Kirsten Dunst stealing the show as the talented and enigmatic Kelly. If you're in the mood for a fun and entertaining movie with great music and a charming cast, then Get Over It is definitely worth checking out.
