This time the film follows Santiago Munez (Becker) as he transfers from Newcastle United to Real Madrid to fulfill his lifelong dream of playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world. The film opens with Santiago being transferred to Real Madrid after his stunning debut season with Newcastle United. Once in Madrid, Santiago faces challenges, including adjusting to a new language and different playing style, adapting to the pressure of playing for a team like Real Madrid, and dealing with jealousy and competition from his teammates.

The relationship between Santiago and Roz is tested throughout the film, as they try to balance their relationship with Santiago's new fame, the long distance between them, and Jordana's advances.

As Santiago tries to establish himself as a true star at Real Madrid, he is plagued by injuries and constant pressure from the media and fans alike.
