Grudge Match is a comedy-drama sports movie that was released in 2013. The movie is directed by Peter Segal and it stars Robert De Niro, Sylvester Stallone, and Kim Basinger. The story kicks off by introducing us to two boxing legends, Henry 'Razor' Sharp (Sylvester Stallone) and Billy 'The Kid' McDonnen (Robert De Niro). Both boxers were once fierce rivals who had a score to settle in the ring, but they never got the chance to complete their trilogy of fights following a dispute before their scheduled third bout. Now, thirty years later, they are given a chance to settle their score in a fight that they are calling the "Grudgement Day".

The two former champs' lives have taken two completely different paths. While "Razor" has been working in a steel mill and living a modest life, "The Kid" has become a successful businessman and is enjoying his retirement in style. When "The Kid" comes to "Razor" with a proposition, it is clear that Razor is not interested in revisiting their past. But when "The Kid" starts to trash talk Razor in the media, Razor decides to take him up on his offer, in hopes of finally winning the long-awaited bout.

As they prepare for their fight, Razor and The Kid have to deal with their past issues and make peace with each other. They also have to deal with training for the fight, something that isn't easy for two men in their sixties. Razor's trainer in this movie is his former flame, Sally (Kim Basinger), with whom he has old wounds that need to be healed. Meanwhile, The Kid is being trained by Dante Slate Jr. (played by Kevin Hart), the son of their former promoter.

As the fight date approaches, tensions build up and emotions start to run high. Both Razor and The Kid realize that this fight is not just about settling their score, but also about proving something to themselves and to the world. The fight takes place in the same arena where they had their last fight, and this time it is a sold-out show with boxing enthusiasts coming from all over the world to witness the match.

Despite the fact that the two protagonists are in their sixties, the movie doesn't disappoint in terms of the action scenes. The fight scenes are realistic yet entertaining, and the cinematography is engrossing. The performances by the three main actors are impressive, with Robert De Niro's take on Billy "The Kid" McDonnen portraying a man with a ton of regrets looking to make up for lost time, while Stallone's Razor in this film feels quite similar to the character of Rocky Balboa.

Overall, Grudge Match is a fun movie that has both funny and heartfelt moments. It shows that it is never too late to try and settle your old scores and make peace with the past. In a way, it is also a tribute to Stallone and De Niro's boxing movies of the past, bringing back memories of movies like Rocky and Raging Bull. It's a story of redemption and the never-ending love for sports.

Grudge Match is a 2013 comedy. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.4 and a MetaScore of 35.
