The movie is set in Detroit, Michigan and follows the story of Rich (50 Cent), a former criminal who is trying to make a new life for himself as a successful businessman. Rich owns a successful nightclub called Xotic, which also serves as a front for his illegal arms dealing business. He is in a relationship with a beautiful but troubled woman named Angel (McCord).

Things take a turn for the worse when Rich's shady business dealings attract the attention of the local police, who begin investigating him and his associates. Meanwhile, a group of corrupt cops and criminals also begin to target Rich and his associates in an effort to take over their criminal enterprise.

To further complicate matters, Rich's estranged childhood friend and former partner-in-crime, Angel's older brother (Kilmer), returns to town and begins causing trouble for Rich and his associates. As tensions mount and the situation becomes increasingly dangerous, Rich must use all of his wits and resources to protect himself, his nightclub, and his loved ones from harm.
