Halloween: Resurrection is a horror film that was released in 2002. The eighth installment of the Halloween franchise, this movie stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Busta Rhymes, Brad Loree, and others. The film takes place three years after the events of Halloween H20: 20 Years Later. The story begins with the introduction of six college students who are participating in an online reality show. The show streams live from the childhood home of Michael Myers, the infamous serial killer who terrorized Haddonfield, Illinois. The students are outfitted with cameras that capture their every move, and are tasked with spending a night in the Myers home to record any paranormal activity they might encounter.

Laurie Strode, played once again by Jamie Lee Curtis, is now living in a mental institution due to her traumatic experience with Michael Myers. Busta Rhymes plays Freddie Harris, the producer of the reality show, who intends to create buzz and attract more viewers by staging scares and stunts in the Myers home. Brad Loree portrays Michael Myers himself, still on the loose and continuing his killing spree.

As the group of college students settles into the Myers home, strange occurrences begin to happen. When one of the students accidentally discovers Michael Myers' secret lair, he sets off a chain of events that puts all the students in danger. As the night progresses, Michael picks off the students one by one, until only a few remain.

Laurie Strode, who has been watching the reality show from the safety of her hospital bed, realizes that Michael is on the prowl again. Using her knowledge of Michael's tendencies and weaknesses, she sets out to find him and stop him once and for all. Meanwhile, Freddie Harris and the remaining students try to fend off Michael and escape the Myers home alive.

The film is directed by Rick Rosenthal, who also directed Halloween II (1981). It has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. Some praise the film's updated take on the Halloween franchise, while others criticize its reliance on cheap scares and formulaic plot. Busta Rhymes' performance as a character who parodies iconic horror movie tropes has been a particularly divisive aspect of the film.

Overall, Halloween: Resurrection is an entertaining but flawed horror movie that will satisfy fans of the Halloween franchise. Its blend of reality show satire and slasher film thrills may not be for everyone, but those who enjoy a good scare will find plenty to enjoy in this movie.

Halloween: Resurrection is a 2002 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 34 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.9 and a MetaScore of 19.
