Stony, Tucson and Lullaby of the Three Mesquiteers are sent to investigate cattle rustling in a mountain ranch. The uniqueness of these occurrences are the presence of bears. Wild bears are entering the ranch from a national wildlife preserve, but a rogue trained bear is among them. This trained bear is the pet of a nearby ranch owner with maniacal plans for all the territories within his reach. The Mesquiteers must provide evidence to the US Rangers about the scheme while preserving the lives of the wild bears roaming the premises.
