Hood of Horror is a 2006 horror anthology film directed by Stacy Title and written by Jacob Hair. It is a horror-comedy that tells the story of a gang of inner-city youths who are taken under the wing of a mysterious figure known as "The Crypt Keeper" (played by Snoop Dogg) and are warned to stay on the straight and narrow path or suffer terrible consequences.

The film is divided into three stories, each focusing on a different character who has made a deal with The Crypt Keeper. The first story, titled "Crossed Out," follows a young graffiti artist named Posie (played by Daniella Alonso) who gains the power to control people's minds after receiving a tattoo from a mysterious tattoo artist (played by Snoop Dogg). Using her newfound abilities, Posie becomes the leader of a group of misfits who wreak havoc on their neighborhood, until things start to spiral out of control.

The second story, titled "The Scumlord," follows a ruthless real estate developer named Roscoe (played by Anson Mount) who is evicting tenants from a low-income housing project to make way for a new luxury high-rise. When he refuses to show mercy to a former tenant who has fallen on hard times, the tenant's vengeful ghost returns to haunt him and exact revenge.

The third and final story, titled "Rapsody Askew," follows a young rapper (played by Pooch Hall) who achieves overnight success after making a deal with The Crypt Keeper. However, he soon discovers that fame and fortune come at a steep price, as he is forced to choose between his loyalty to his friends and his duty to The Crypt Keeper.

Throughout the film, The Crypt Keeper serves as the narrator and guide, offering moral lessons and cryptic warnings to the characters as they navigate the dangers of inner-city life. His gruesome appearance and dark sense of humor add a macabre edge to the film's more comedic moments.

Hood of Horror is a unique blend of horror, comedy, and social commentary. Its themes of inner-city violence, gentrification, and the lure of fame and fortune are explored through a series of twisted tales that are both frightening and entertaining. The film's eclectic cast, led by the charismatic Snoop Dogg, adds to its undeniable charm, and the stunning visual effects and cinematography create a vivid and immersive world that draws the audience in from start to finish.

Overall, Hood of Horror is a fun and exciting horror anthology that is sure to entertain fans of the genre. Its mix of humor, horror, and social commentary make it a standout film that is both entertaining and thought-provoking.
