I Didn't Come Here to Die is a 2010 horror film directed by Bradley Scott Sullivan. The story follows a group of young adults who volunteer for a weekend of work in a remote cabin in the woods as part of a charity organization. But as they begin to work on the cabin's renovation, they soon realize that something is seriously wrong with the place.

The film begins with a brief introduction to each of the main characters. We meet Robin (Indiana Adams), a tough and headstrong young woman who is haunted by a traumatic event from her past. We also meet her best friend Miranda (Madi Goff), a cheerful and optimistic girl who seems to always be in a good mood. Rounding out the group are Tim (Kurt Cole), a laid-back and carefree guy who seems to be just along for the ride, and Matt (Nik O'Brien), a quiet and reserved young man who is still mourning the loss of his girlfriend.

As the group sets out for the cabin, they are excited for the adventure ahead. They've been told that the cabin is in need of serious repair, but they're up for the challenge. When they arrive, they find that the cabin is in rough shape. The roof is leaking, the plumbing is shot, and the walls are falling apart. But they're undeterred and set to work right away.

As they begin the renovation, strange things start to happen. Robin hears strange noises and sees movement out of the corner of her eye. Matt starts having hallucinations of his dead girlfriend. Tim finds a strange symbol carved into one of the walls. Miranda remains optimistic, but even she can't ignore the sense of unease that seems to be growing around them.

As their weekend progresses, the group becomes increasingly isolated. The cell phone reception is spotty at best and their car won't start. They're stranded with no way to call for help. When they start finding strange objects around the cabin - a bloody knife, a noose, a jar filled with what appears to be human organs - it becomes clear that they're not alone. Something or someone is in the woods with them, and it's not friendly.

Without giving away any spoilers, I Didn't Come Here to Die is a tense and unsettling horror film that keeps the audience on edge until the very end. The film takes a slow burn approach to building its suspense, with the first half of the movie focusing on character development and atmosphere rather than jump scares and gore. This approach allows the audience to get to know the characters and care about their fates, making the horror elements all the more effective when they do arrive.

The acting in the film is solid, with each of the main actors delivering a convincing and nuanced performance. Indiana Adams stands out in particular as the tough and complicated Robin, who is haunted by a past trauma and struggling to find her place in the world. Madi Goff's Miranda provides a much-needed dose of optimism and humor, while Kurt Cole's Tim brings a laid-back charm to the film. Nik O'Brien's portrayal of the grieving Matt is poignant and affecting, making his character's fate all the more heartbreaking.

Overall, I Didn't Come Here to Die is a well-crafted and effective horror film that is sure to leave audiences on edge. While it may not be for the faint of heart, fans of the genre will find plenty to enjoy in this tense and unnerving movie.

I Didn't Come Here to Die is a 2010 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 20 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.1.
