I Spit on Your Grave

I Spit On Your Grave is a 1977 film that follows the tribulations of Jennifer Hills. Jennifer, played by actress Camile Keaton is a young attractive short story writer from New York who decides to rent an isolated cabin in the woods in order to write her first novel. While driving out to said Cabin she stops at a gas station and meets a mentally handicapped youth named Matthew. Matthew develops a fancy for her and both develop a friendship.

Matthew who is quite happy runs back to his friends Stanley and Andy to tell them about this girl, including the happy notion he saw her breasts. Andy and Stanley decide that this will be the girl that their little Matthew is going to lose his virginity with. Matthew is extremely happy over the prospect, the thought of being able to have someone to make love to is quite nice.

Stanley and Andy set up a stakeout around the cabin. Then while Jennifer is relaxing they attack and after towing the boat to shore, Jennifer realizes what is going to happen. Like any sane person Jennifer fights and runs through the forest. However, this proves to be of no avail and she is brutally raped by a fourth member of the gang, Johnny. She then escapes but is followed back to the cabin where she is raped again and again before finally collapsing on the floor, her manuscript in shreds as the men leave.

The next few days drag out with Jennifer wondering what she is going to do. After piecing her story together shred by shred it suddenly dawns on her what must be done:She must seek revenge on the four men for attacking. Before she carries out her revenge she goes to the local church and asks for forgiveness for what she is about to do.

What follows is Jennifer taking her revenge on all four men worsening the murder for each man until she finally comes to the man that organized the whole shebang: Andy. After she kills him, she gets into the speedboat and heads down river.
