Iceman is a science fiction/action film that revolves around the story of He Ying (Donnie Yen), a Ming Dynasty warrior who is frozen and accidentally thawed out in present-day Hong Kong. He is discovered by a group of scientists who attempt to revive him using a special machine. However, when he wakes up, he is confused and disoriented, completely unaware of where he is or what has happened to him.

As He Ying tries to figure out his new surroundings, he is pursued by guards who believe he is a dangerous criminal. He eventually escapes and is aided by a young woman named May (Shengyi Huang), who helps him navigate the modern world. However, He Ying's arrival in the present day has also attracted the attention of another group of people who are after his ancient artifact, which they believe contains mystical powers.

Meanwhile, He Ying's nemesis, Sao (Baoqiang Wang), has also been thawed out and is now attempting to track him down in order to settle old scores. Sao is a treacherous and vicious character who will stop at nothing to take down He Ying once and for all.

As the two warriors clash in modern-day Hong Kong, their ancient feud is reignited with explosive consequences. The fight scenes in the movie are thrilling and dynamic, culminating in a spectacular final battle that will leave audiences on the edge of their seats.

Despite the film's focus on action, Iceman also delves into deeper themes such as the clash between tradition and modernity, the consequences of time travel, and the importance of honor and loyalty. These themes are explored through He Ying's struggle to adapt to a new world while clinging to his old ways, as well as Sao's ruthless pursuit of revenge.

Donnie Yen delivers a strong performance as He Ying, balancing his character's physical prowess with a sense of vulnerability and confusion in the face of modern technology. Baoqiang Wang, meanwhile, is menacing and sinister as Sao, bringing a palpable sense of danger to every scene he is in. Shengyi Huang also shines as May, providing a much-needed lightness to the film and grounding the story in reality.

Overall, Iceman is a thrilling and engaging action movie that combines stunning fight scenes with thought-provoking themes. It is a must-see for fans of Donnie Yen and anyone looking for an exciting and enjoyable movie experience.

Iceman is a 2014 adventure movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 44 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 4.7 and a MetaScore of 32.
