Intergirl (Russian: , translit. Interdevochka) is a screen adaptation of the eponymous story by Vladimir Kunin (also author of Svolochi), set in Leningrad (Saint Petersburg) in the time of perestroika during the 1980s.
The film was the leader of Soviet distribution in 1989 (41.3 million viewers).
