Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman is a horror-comedy movie released in 2000 directed by Michael Cooney. The plot of the movie is set on a tropical island rather than the usual winter setting. The main characters include the survivors from the first Jack Frost movie as well as some new ones. The movie opens with a recap of the first Jack Frost movie where a killer snowman called Jack terrorizes the town of Snowmonton. The town sheriff, Sam Tiler (Christopher Allport) and his deputy, Alex (Eileen Seeley) manage to defeat Jack by blowing him up with a chemical truck. The opening scene of the sequel takes place a year after the events of the first movie.

The scene then shifts to a plane where a group of tourists is flying to a tropical island for a Christmas vacation. The group includes a family with a young boy, a retired couple, a young couple on their honeymoon, and a few others. The pilot of the plane welcomes the tourists and introduces his co-pilot, Jack Frost (Chip Heller).

As soon as the plane lands on the island, strange things start to happen. The bodies of the locals are found with their faces frozen solid. The tourists begin to suspect something is wrong. Meanwhile, Sam and his wife Anne (Marsha Clark) are also on the island to celebrate their anniversary. They are surprised to see Jack Frost alive and well. They immediately try to warn the tourists, but no one believes them.

Soon after, Jack Frost starts his killing spree. He uses his magic to transform himself into different objects on the island, making it difficult for the tourists to identify him. The tourists try to survive by arming themselves with whatever weapons they can find. Several tourists get killed, and the group starts to lose hope of making it out alive.

As the situation worsens, Sam remembers how he defeated Jack Frost in Snowmonton. He turns to a scientist on the island for help and discovers that Jack has been using a genetic experiment to transform his body. Sam believes that Jack is now unstoppable, but he might be able to stop him by using the same chemical he used in Snowmonton.

Sam and his team race against time to create the chemical to destroy Jack Frost, while Jack searches for the young boy in the group who has a special connection to him. The ending of the movie is filled with action and surprises that viewers will have to watch to find out.

Overall Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman is a fun, campy, and entertaining movie. The movie is full of dark humor and horror elements but isn't overly gory. The tropical island setting is a refreshing change for a snowman horror movie, and the plot takes several twists and turns to keep the viewers engaged. The movie is definitely not to be taken seriously, and fans of the first movie will be pleased with the sequel. It's a great movie to watch during the holidays with friends and family, and fans of horror-comedy movies will not be disappointed.

Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman is a 2000 fantasy movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 31 minutes. It has received mostly poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 3.7.
