Jason X

"Jason X" is the tenth installment of the "Friday the 13th" horror movie franchise. The film is directed by James Isaac and the screenplay was written by Todd Farmer. The film chronicles one of the killing sprees of evil serial killer Jason Voorhees. Jason has supernatural healing abilities, making him virtually immortal. Kane Hodder portrays Jason in the film, making this his fourth, and last, performance as the character.

In this installment, the hockey-masked psychopath has been captured by the government. They attempt to kill him, but are unsuccessful. A group of government scientists decide to cryogenically freeze Jason so that he cannot escape and harm anyone else. However, Jason is able to kill most of the scientists. A female scientist named Rowan (Lexa Doig) freezes both herself and Jason, and both of them exist in suspended animation for hundreds of years. In the year 2455, humanity has abandoned the heavily polluted Earth and moved onto a new planet called Earth 2. A professor and some students decide to make a field trip back to earth. They are accompanied by an android, KM14, who resembles a human female. The crew stumbles upon Jason and Rowan. After reviving Rowan, they take Jason's apparently dead body onto their spaceship and fly away. They believe that his corpse will be worth a great deal of money. Jason comes back to life and attacks them, slaughtering the crew one by one. The surviving members of the group desperately search for a way to stop their attacker. KM 14 eventually does battle with Jason. Later, Jason is temporary trapped in a holographic illusion intended to distract him and make him believe that he is still on earth. The spaceship eventually explodes, hurtling Jason and the other survivors into outer space. One of the survivors grabs Jason and maneuvers him into the atmosphere of humanity's new planet, Earth 2. Jason burns up as he enters the planet's atmosphere, and his hockey mask falls to earth.
