Jim in Bold is a documentary film detailing the life of former high school student Jim Wheeler, who tragically committed suicide in 1997 after being mercilessly harassed by his classmates for being homosexual. In addition to putting Wheeler's life into perspective through interviews and firsthand accounts, the documentary also highlights the young group Young Gay America, which is an online organization supporting gay teenagers, and explores changing perspectives on homosexuality across the country.
