Launched in 2011, Just Go With It is romantic-comedy movie, which is loosely based on the 1969 production Cactus Flower. The movie features lead stars Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston along with Nicole Kidman and Dan Patrick. The movie's production budget summed up to $80 million, but was definitely able to recoup it with a box office hit at nearly $215 million. The movie runs approximately 117 minutes.
The plot begins when Danny Maccabee, an established California-based plastic surgeon played by Adam Sandler, is set to get married. Tragically, on the day that they are to be wedded, Danny overhears her bride-to-be speaking with her friends about her untrue love and betrayal to Danny. Eventually, he calls off the wedding and remains heart-broken. To shield himself from being cheated on again, Danny engages in flings and even pretends to be involved in unhappy marriages to get women to sleep with him.
The only person who is aware of Danny's deceitful plot is his clinic manager and close friend named Katherine Murphy, a single parent of two children played by Jennifer Aniston. Danny meets a six grade math teacher named Palmer and sleeps with him in a beach. Palmer assumes that Danny is unmarried and fit to date. Yet as morning rises, Palmer finds the wedding ring that Danny uses as a tool of his delusive trade. She immediately suspects Danny is a married man and refuses to date him for fear of being a home wrecker.
Rather than telling the truth outright, Danny impulsively tells Palmer that he is annulled from a woman named Delvin who happens to be Katherine's mentioned college friend and sorority competitor. Danny further reasons that they are divorced because Devlin cheated on him with another man. Palmer demands that Danny proves it first before she can allow them to date.
Katherine, being Danny's only close woman friend, agrees to feign as Devlin after being begged by Danny. They go shopping on an upscale department in Los Angeles in preparation for their in-person meeting. As the story progresses, Danny begins to feel genuinely in love with Katherine who is also falling for him.
Jennifer Aniston and Demi Moore have been in front of the camera plenty of times in their careers, but soon they'll be stepping behind the camera...and for a great cause, too!
Aniston and Moore will be joined by Alicia Keys and filmmaker Patty Jenkins in directing a set of short films for the Lifetime network. The films will be present as part of "Project Five," which aims to raise awareness about breast cancer by releasing these five short films.
America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston dropped by the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Thursday to promote her upcoming romantic comedy movie “Just Go With It,” co-starring Adam Sandler, Nicole Kidman and Brooklyn Decker.
In the middle of her conversation with Ellen, Aniston recalled an incident between her and the self-proclaimed “queen of media” Perez Hilton, who was considered one of the biggest bullies in the showbiz blogging society.
